Wallpaper Borders for Boys

Boys wallpaper borders are a quick and easy way to add detail and pattern to a boys bedrooms. This narrow band of decorative wallpaper is usually used at ceiling height but can be used at chair rail height as well, in place of or in addition to wood molding (never higher than 36” off the floor). They can also be used to accentuate room features such as a niche, around windows or doors, at the baseboard or on the ceiling. Wallpaper borders are easy to install and remove so they are easy to change when your little boy becomes a teen. Borders are also durable and easy to clean.

Wallpaper borders for boys bedrooms can be used alone or in conjunction with a mural, accent mural, Sudden Shadows, Wallies, wall stickers or appliqués for a more distinctive and custom look. Many borders now have matching accent murals and appliqués and the coordinating products will be noted in the description.

The different types of borders for boys bedrooms are explained below:
    •    Self-adhesive-vinyl wallpaper border that has the adhesive already on the back. Easy to apply, remove and reuse.
    •    Prepasted-border already has paste on the backing, which can be activated by soaking it in a filled water tray.

The directions typically are printed on the back of the label. The directions for each individual paper must be followed to determine proper soaking and booking time.

After receiving the border, select a color within the border and match the paint to it. Many of the home decorating stores can match the colors perfectly with the use of their color-matching computers; just take one of the spools with you.
